The Dwarf #8 Intermediate Stock was selected to make a dwarfing interstock which gives comparable growth rates as Quince but without jeopardizing the lifespan of the grafts. Can be used as a direct seedling when grown from Polyembryonic seeds or used as a topper or interconnector for scions onto an existing branch or basal stock to slow vigor. Perfect for converting highly vigorous varieties into container growing or smaller backyard spaces.
