'Flavor Dance' Dewberry is an improved selection of southern Dewberries known for being highly prolific and full of wonderfully mixed flavors more complex than their blackberries cousins, from sweet to tart, depending on ripeness. They can be trained into rows and hedges or left to take over an area as an edible ground cover. Due to incremental blooming, these dewberries have an extended harvest and will produce throughout all of spring and even into early summer. Most farmers prefer to grow dewberries along fence lines as added protection to livestock.
-
This selection produces some intense berries with a nice firmness and excellent shelf life. Each berry is medium to large sized for dewberry standards, and range from dark red to jet black colors, adding an attractive eye candy as well as a healthy wild snack. Highly pest and disease resistant, which promotes generally plump and pest-free fruit.
Plant this vigorous hedge-worthy dewberry in the most intolerable areas of your yard to bring life back to barren areas. The drought, humidity and heat tolerance of this dewberry is remarkable, and it can grow equally as well in containers for those wishing to keep it from growing in the landscape.

Our Rootstocks

You may purchase rootstocks varying from germinated seedlings to full-grown specimens up to 100 Gallons for a variety of trees and shrubs.

Rootstocks can be utilized as a grafting base for your scions, or you can have us build-to-order customized grafted or cocktail trees for you if you don’t mind the wait (6-24+ months depending on the project). We carry Dwarf, Semi-Dwarf, Standard and Vigorous Rootstocks for many tree types.

Whether you have us graft an apple, mulberry, fig, peach, loquat or other tree or shrub types, we will utilize specific rootstocks based on your needs or location.

Please be advised that custom multi-grafted projects built with numerous varieties or utilizing genetically dwarfing rootstocks require significantly more time.

Our Guarantee

We trust when you obtain germplasm from our nursery that you have done your diligent research and are well versed in the process of grafting or planting seeds.

If you are not, do not hesitate to reach out to us for grafting and planting instructions and well-versed education. We have and will gladly take the time to help.

Despite your best efforts, however, sometimes the graft will fail, the cutting won't root or the seed won't sprout. Could be environmental, or you may need more practice, but do not despair.

We will warranty your scion wood, cutting or seed for a full twelve months from the date of purchase with a one-time free replacement. You did not just buy germplasm, you bought rights to the variety and we want you to have it—no questions asked.
