The Semi-Dwarf #7 Intermediate Stock was selected to make a semi-dwarfing interstock which gives slightly better growth rates than Quince but without jeopardizing the lifespan of the grafts. Can be used as a direct seedling when grown from Polyembryonic seeds or used as a topper or interconnector for scions onto an existing branch or basal stock to slow vigor. Perfect for converting highly vigorous varieties into container growing or smaller backyard spaces.
